Electroalfa- 2007 achievements, 2008 aims

Over Electroalfa company’s evolution and development, 2007 is a representative year for the management of complex projects: the allocation of production activities over regions and the opening of production branch in Brasov. This fact is supported also by the financial results in 2007.

At the end of 2007, Electroalfa registered a turnover of over 78 million lei, over EUR 23.5 million, raising up to 10% compared to 2006, when a turnover of more than 73 million was realized, over EUR 21 million. Over 6 percent of the 2007 turnover comes from export sales, main business partners being France, Belgium, Hungary.

Electroalfa is a national company holding: 2 large production factories, 4 administrative regions, 10 sales offices, 4 production units, in which approximately 420 employees develop their activities.

Being a national company, Electroalfa customers are currently in the whole country. The proposed activity regionalization project aims at getting close to the customers. Thus, we established 4 administrative regional units each designed to serve customers from the associated counties: Muntenia Region headquartered in Bucharest, Moldova Region headquartered in Iasi, North Transylvania region headquarted in Cluj Napoca and Transylvania South headquarted in Brasov.

In 2007 we invested, as usual, in new technologies: casting gasket technology, cable labeling technology, wrapping technology and in opening new branches of production in Brasov. In total, over 52% of 2006 realized profit was oriented to investment projects in 2007.

Electroalfa started 2008 with a new managing team represented by Lucretia Codreanu- General Director and Ionel Parpalea- Deputy General Director.

For 2008 Electroalfa aims a turnover increase by 20% compared to 2007, estimated at lei 96 million and the achievement of a profit rate of 8%, amounting to 8 million RON. An important role in the 2008 turnover achievement will be play by the contracting services for which an increase of over 30% compared to 2007 is aimed.

The investments planned for 2008 are estimated at a value of 70% from the 2007recorded profit. Much of the amount allocated for investments shall be targeted for the company’s regional development by strengthening the production subsidiaries and sales representatives which work in the area.

For the next period, Electroalfa company aims to diversify the low and medium voltage products range, providing power distribution solutions of the highest class.

An important goal for the company is to strengthen the Electroalfa brand. We aim to position the Electroalfa brand in the premium category, this being associated among the customers with the value and quality. Value is given by the partnership and collaboration relation that we have with our customers and collaborators and the quality is represented by the proposed technical solutions. All products and services manufactured under Electroalfa brand represent quality and offer safety, comfort and ease of use.
