p5_3_1.gifAC and DC electro-supplying sources for GSM equipments – indoor use

The cabinet should be used to supply with electric energy the telecommunication equipment including also the mobile phone system. The supplied energy should be with “+” earthed and the voltage system should be of “-48DC” type (on beneficiary request other voltage variants are available)

Description

  • The cabinet generally consists of a rectifier and batteries that all together form the continuous source of DC current for the telecommunication equipment
  • The rectifiers are designed to transform the alternating current (sinusoidal) from the supplying source in DC and to supply the telecommunication equipment, and in parallel to supply the batteries
  • The batteries are designed to store energy and to transmit it to the telecommunication equipment when the supplying source does not function in AC current
  • The equipment also contains Control and Monitor Unit (MCU), LVBD type contactor, LVLD type contactor, Temperature Sensor, DC Distribution, Battery Breakers and Three-pole Breaker + Class C Discharger for AC supplying
  • The cabinet allows mounting of a maximum 12 rectifiers of 2000W and batteries of maximum 600Ah/48V with front connections
  • The system allows large input voltage variations and at a soft-start type starting generates sinusoidal currents. The system can be supplied in AC both with single-phase voltage and three-phase voltage
  • The maximum operating temperature for the cabinet is of +60°C; for higher temperatures, each rectifier regulates itself the transmitted power in order not to damage itself

Operating conditions

  • Erection location – indoor
  • Environment ambient temperature range during operation -40 ÷ +60°C
  • Environment ambient temperature range during transportation, storing and erection -40 ÷ +85°C
  • Maximum altitude – 4000m
