The outdoor cabinet is designed for use on GSM site and it is conceived to face different environment conditions, the micro-climate of the cabinet indoor is carried out according to the temperature and humidity level of the ambient environment (specified by the beneficiary) where the cabinet should function. The indoor micro-climate of the cabinet is maintained at the requested level by the beneficiary with the help of the elements of heating management (heating resistances for temperatures lower than 10°C and/or fans, air/air heat exchangers, air conditioning units for temperatures higher than 25°C).

Description

  • The thermo-insulated and thermo-stated cabinet is generally composed of base and the proper cabinet

Base

  • The base has the role of mechanic fastening of the cabinet on the floor. The base should be mounted on a combined metal concrete structure depending on the erection site 
  • The base is made of thermally zinc coated steel sheet and electro-chemically zinc coated steel sheet and then a epoxy polyester powder pain is applied the RAL 5012 color

Cabinet

  • The cabinet consists of a box type metallic case, lower cover and covering, and the lower cover is perforated for the cable inputs 
  • The walls, doors, upper cover and lower cover are coated with a thermo-insulating material (styrodur of 30mm thick) for providing the thermal insulation on the outside of the cabinet
  • The covering is inclined for facilitating the water drainage on the side of the cabinet, not on the access areas of the cabinet (doors). The covering  is 100mm larger than the cabinet depth
  • The cabinet is integrally made of thermal zinc coated steel sheet and it is painted with epoxy-polyester powder paint on the outside, color RAL 7035
  • Inside the cabinet 4 perforated beams are mounted so that to facilitate the mounting of the 19 inch equipment and two trays for acid lead rest batteries with gas re-mixture. These elements have a variable erection level on the cabinet depth

  • Inside, the cabinet contains the following modules:
    - AC supplying module 
    - DC distribution module
    - DC system
    - Battery module 
    - Accessories
  • These modules can be arranged according to the client’s requirements
  • The standard modules have the following equipment 
    - AC supplying module which contains a three-phase supplying circuit protected against atmospheric over-voltage protection and suppling circuit rectifier module  
    - DC distribution maximum single-phase 15 breakers, 4x63A + 1x35A + 11x6A
    - The DC system has a maximum power of 16kW
    - Battery module - two trays are mounted for batteries of maximum 100Ah
  • The main cabinet accessories are air conditioning units or heat exchangers. There devices can be of “TOP” or “DOOR” type; their capacity is calculated depending on the dissipated power of the telecommunication equipments as well as on the solar influence and on the dissipated power of the standard equipment
