Single-phase metering and protection unit in metal/polycarbonate case
It is used in the final network distribution of the electric energy suppliers, in single-phase connection of individual users.
Functions
- Metering the active electrical energy
- Protection against short-circuit, overload and residual differential currents of the general supplying column for user supply
- Protection of users against industrial frequency overloads due to the accidental interruption of the null conductor
- Protection against electric shock by direct contact with the circuits and equipment from the metering and protection unit box, usually under voltage
- The possibility of re-supplying by the user in case of safe emergency stop after a power malfunction in his installations by providing an access window at the breaker by keeping the protection standard by preventing the unauthorized person access by the supplier
- The possibility of reading the counters and, if possible, cutting the power supply by the supplier, regardless whether the user is present or not
- Protection against electric power theft or equipment destruction by offenders or unauthorized persons
