Three-phase metering and protection unit in metal/polycarbonate case

It is used in low-voltage network distribution for supplying power to minor users or public administration buildings.

Functions

• It connects the electric installation of the user to the energy installation of the supplier
• It measures the active and/or reactive electric energy
• Overload and short-circuit protection of the main supplying column with electric power of user 
• Protection of users against industrial frequency overloads due to the accidental interruption of the null conductor
• Protection against electric shock by direct contact with the circuits and equipment from the metering and protection unit box, usually under voltage
• Possibility to be re-supplying by the user, in case of protection reaction to a malfunction by providing an access window at the breaker by keeping the protection standard by preventing the unauthorized person access by the supplier
• The possibility of reading the counters and, if possible, cutting the power supply by the supplier, regardless whether the user is present or not
• Protection against electric power theft or equipment destruction by offenders or unauthorized persons
