0,4 kV general distribution boards - Power Center
The Power Center and Motor Control Center - DISMOD type general distribution boards are low voltage electric equipment assemblages, with modular structure, which embody the optimal solution for electric distribution, automations, engine control and protection, for all industrial, infrastructure applications, commercial and residential buildings.
Purposes
According to application, the functional units can have the following purposes:
- distribution (primary, secondary, final)
- engine commands (direct start-up, star-triangle start-up, start-up with progressive starter (soft-starter), operations with frequency converter, operations with c.c. rotation variator)
- automation (AAR installations, collection of energy data, centralized control (monitoring and command))
- measure

Usage conditions (according to SR EN 60439-1/dec. 2001)

- Ambient temperature range during operation: -5...+40°C, for indoors panels, -25...+40°C, for outdoors panels
- Atmospheric conditions: 50% max. at +40°C, for indoors panels, 100% max. (temporary) at +25°C, for outdoors panels
- Temperature during transportation and storage: -25...+55°C, +70°C max for 24 hours.

Construction and functional features
The general distribution boards are made of a metal cabinets group with modular structure, ready for mounting and connecting the electric equipment necessary for an application and for potential extensions or modifications.
The compartmenting and optimal positioning of the electric equipment, mechanic and electric interlocks, separating panels and insulating obturators allow interventions on the board without cutting the power, handling and maintenance in totally secure conditions for both the personnel and the installations.
According to requests, the connection of the circuits can be made:
- through the upper cover of the column;
- through the lower cover of the column;
- through a connection compartment (placed sideways or behind the column).
