Enclosures for industrial applications

ALFA SYSTEM is a metal enclosure used to build all kind of distribution boards requiring complex, robust and flexible configuration; they are used for industrial applications, power supply of administrative buildings etc. The switchboard based on Alfa System cabinets can be used under harsh environment and high pollution conditions, for rated currents between 1000 and 4000 A.

Material:

• Enclosure - carbon steel sheet, 1 ÷ 2 mm
• Door – carbon steel sheet, 2 mm
• Optional – zinc coated steel sheet.

Surface Finish:     

• Enclosure – power paint coated, standard color RAL 7032
• Mounting plate – power paint coated, standard RAL 9010 (<> 3 mm) or orange RAL 2000 (<> 3 mm)
• Optional – zinc coated (<> 2.5 mm)

• IP 00, IP 3x, IP 4x or IP 54.

Characteristics:

• Alfa System is the answer to all conceivable demands encountered in the daily practice and is built according to SR EN 60439-1/2001; the punched profiles are designed a fair mechanical resistance and are joined by means of end-connectors providing a sturdy stiff frame
• A special end-connector in shape of angle part (2 mm pickled steel sheet) enables to be perfectly put together
• The access door in flush-fitted to the frame on hidden hinges; reinforcing strips onto the back of the door
• The handle of the lock system may be fitted with key
• The protection degree is ensured by a highly flexible sealing gasket mounted on doors, side walls and covers; these gaskets are extremely resistant to harsh environment conditions

Components:

• the enclosure consists of steel closed profiles (1.5 mm thickness), joined by corner connectors and welding; the profiles are pre-punched over the entire length,
• the door, the back wall and the side walls are made of phosphate treated steel and are painted in electrostatic field with painting (the standard hue is RAL 7032); the cabinets can also be painted in a different color,
• a 4-point-lock-system, mounted onto the access door ,
• sealing gaskets for IP 54 degree of protection,
• the accessories are made of zinc-coated steel sheet of 1.5÷3 mm thickness and include pre-punched mounting rails of various sizes, cable anchoring rails, mounting plate, etc.
• the cabinets can be also manufactured by request with translucent door
